The Department of Legal Affairs of Taipei City Government reviews administrative appeals regarding unlawful or improper administrative actions taken by agencies of the Taipei City Government that infringe on citizens' rights or interests. The Administrative Appeals Commission is composed of 1 chairperson and 10 administrative appeals commissioners. The administrative appeals commissioners include scholars, experts, or practitioners. Therefore, the Administrative Appeals Commission can review the appeals against administrative actions independently, impartially and objectively.
